IFinacle e-banking
Infosys, leading technology and consulting firm, announced the launch of the e-banking version of Finacle at the 2011 BAI Retail Delivery Show in Chicago. The solution is a comprehensive offering that empowers banks to achieve quick global rollouts of online banking services. The new version of Finacle e-banking provides personalisation capabilities, security features and intelligent customer insights, a release from Infosys stated.
Haragopal Mangipudi, Global Head of Finacle, said: “Online banking is expected to grow approximately 20 per cent over the next two years and is a key focus area for banks as they strive to increase customer acquisition and convert more online sales opportunities.”
Network security framework
McAfee, the global leader in network intrusion prevention systems, announced its network security framework which integrates advanced network inrusion prevention with essential next-generation controls. The solution addresses a need for security tools to prevent increasingly sophisticated attacks, with sufficient intelligence and automation to take the guesswork out of attack prevention and resolution, a press release said. The network security framework includes significant enhancements to its security platform, including application visibility and integrated threat-context.
Android security
Quick Heal Technologies, a security solutions provider, launched Mobile Security Suite for Android-based smartphones.
According to a press release from the firm, this solution is a complete security solution that offers a host of features such as virus protection, call-blocking, SMS blocking, anti-theft and data protection features.
The automatic real-time virus and spyware scan comes with optional manual scan for installed applications.
